HoT was on sale, so...

I happily paid $25 for it, which I would have also happily paid had that been the original asking price. ;-)

BDO, meanwhile, has released two new character classes since it launched, with a free character slot each time.

STO released Agents of Yesteryear with a new faction (agents of yesteryear, ahem) and a free character slot.

No free character slot for the $25 purchase of HoT.

So anet still sucks. Stingy bastiges. :-D

I got 3 when I purchased mine....maybe it was a fluke. Welcome to the world of gliding and 10 second falls to your doom. ^_^

I've been a freind of Danica for year in CoX & know Pepcat from the same game. I'm a refugie

I deleted my sylvari necro to make room for a new revenuer, I mean revenant, since I already have another necro and hardly ever play either one. Alas, he had a store bought face and store bought hair which of course, due to anet's accursed stinginess, will have to be bought again for use by any other character because anet is run by the stingiest blankety blanks in MMO history, as opposed to companies like cryptic, who, while just this side of incompetent, are generous almost to a fault. "Oh," says cryptic, "Want that TOS costume suite? Here, pay for it once and have it eternally available for every damn character you ever make, ever! Except for Klingons..."

Anyway, now I can't decide what race to make my soon to be new Revenuer. I mean, Revenant.

I feel more like I do now than I did before.

Fireheart's picture

Perhaps an enormous fat Norn? The Revenge of Kris Kringle?

Be Well!

After many false starts and rerolls, I went with an asura. Odd profession, the revenuer. After I bumped him up to 80 I went to HoT and he proceeded to get facerolled right and left. Heh. I was in the zone with the happy shiny people, trying to get to the zone with the flax and it took HOURS of death and dismemberment before I finally made it there. But I think I have a handle on how he works now, at least with sword/axe and staff (and Jalis and the centaur dude).

Trust not a man who's rich in flax. His morals may be sadly lax.

I feel more like I do now than I did before.
